Shannon Romano

Shannon Romano has worked in the technology industry since 2000. Shannon began their career at Hulabee Entertainment as a Lead Game Developer, followed by a role as Software Engineer in the Platforms and Technologies Group at Smashing Ideas, Inc. In 2009, they joined Spiral9, Inc. as Director of Engineering, where they were responsible for software design. In 2011, they moved to DoubleDown Interactive as Senior Software Engineering Manager, and was promoted to Director of Program Management at High Fidelity, Inc. in 2018. Most recently, they have been working as Senior Technical Program Manager at Stellar Development Foundation since 2020, where they have implemented a cross-team process and partnered with the Product team to expand and implement external-facing development tools.

Shannon Romano holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Western Washington University and a Certificate Program in C Programming from the University of Washington. Additionally, in May 2020, they obtained a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Inc.
