Saba Alvi

Saba Alvi has a diverse work experience. Saba currently holds the position of Sr. Counsel, Director - Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at Flowserve Corporation, a role they have been in since May 2022. Saba previously held positions as Sr. Counsel, Compliance Director - Americas & Global Investigations and Sr. Counsel, Compliance Director - Global Investigations & Special Projects at the same company. Prior to joining Flowserve Corporation, Saba worked as an Employment Counsel, North America at the company from January 2019 to December 2020.

Before their time at Flowserve Corporation, Saba worked as an Associate at Littler from June 2015 to January 2019. Saba also had a brief role as an Affiliate Professor at UNT Dallas College of Law from January 2016 to May 2016.

Saba has also gained legal experience at organizations such as The Coca-Cola Company, City of Irving, Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, Emory University School of Law, Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Ayusa-Intrax; U.S. Department of State, Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study, and American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia.

Saba Alvi attended Emory University School of Law from 2009 to 2012 and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Prior to that, they attended Vanderbilt University from 2005 to 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Policy Studies, Religious Studies, with a minor in Islamic Studies. Additionally, in 2008, they pursued an Intensive Study of the Arabic Language at The American University in Cairo. Saba'shigh school education was completed at Rowlett High School from 2001 to 2005.
