Suresh Thailan is currently serving as the Global Sales Manager for Process Control & Optimization at FLSmidth Cement, starting in November 2024. In this role, Suresh is responsible for overseeing the global sales strategy, driving revenue, and expanding market share across various industries, including Cement and Mining. Previously, Suresh held multiple positions at FLSmidth from March 2012 to October 2024, including Regional Sales Manager for Digital and Performance Services, where Suresh focused on sales and business development for digital products aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability in the Mining industry. Earlier in Suresh's career, Suresh worked as an Assistant Manager in the E&I department at Vedanta Limited’s Aluminium Business from July 2008 to February 2012. Suresh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Annamalai University, completed in 2008.
