Andrés Tapia

Andrés Tapia is currently the Jefe de Operaciones at FLSmidth, where they oversee production operations while ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards since 2022. With over a decade of experience, Andrés previously held positions at KGHM Chile, where they operated and managed hydrometallurgical processes, and they contributed to the restructuring of procedures to enhance safety and efficiency. They hold multiple degrees, including a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from Universidad La República and a technical degree in Geomining. Andrés is passionate about optimizing mining processes and is open to collaborating on challenging projects within the industry.
