Julio Ortiz has extensive experience in the field of mechanical engineering, particularly within the pyroprocessing sector. Since January 2001, Julio has held various roles at FLSmidth, currently serving as Region Product Line Manager for PyroMet, focusing on Pyro Minerals. Previous positions include Senior Sales Engineer and Senior Product Engineer, specializing in rotary kilns and related equipment. Julio began his career at FLSmidth (FULLER) as a Mechanical Drafter from 1996 until 2001, working on pyrotechnical equipment for cement kilns. Julio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University and an Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Lehigh Carbon Community College, as well as a Technician qualification in Automobile Mechanics from CEOP Benjamín Galecio Matos in Lima.
