Mats Lindqvist

Mats Lindqvist is a seasoned professional in engineering and product development, currently serving as Chief Engineer at FLSmidth since April 2016. With prior experience as an Engineer at Avalon Innovation and as R&D Manager at Sandvik Mining and Construction, Mats has a strong background in rock crushing technology and material development. Previous roles include Product Specialist at Econocap AB, where expertise in CAD-CAE software was honed, and R&D Engineer at Sandvik Mining & Construction, leading a team focused on FEA and chamber design. Mats holds a PhD in Steel, Abrasive Wear, and Simulation, and has worked as a Technical Specialist at PTC, contributing to the implementation of Pro/ENGINEER, known today as Creo Parametric.
