Wendi Cooksey

Wendi Cooksey is an experienced metallurgical professional with a career spanning several decades, currently serving as Manager of the Metallurgical Lab at FLSmidth since November 2016. Prior to this role, Cooksey founded Your World Rocks, a nonprofit organization focused on promoting education in mineral science and related fields, impacting over 7000 students. Cooksey also has extensive consulting experience and has held significant positions at SNC-Lavalin as Manager of Metallurgy, Fluor Daniel Wright Ltd. as Senior Process Engineer, and BHP International as a Metallurgical Engineer. Educational background includes a degree in Metallurgical Engineering with a minor in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.
