Scott LaPlante

Scott LaPlante has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Scott is currently the VP of Engineering at Flueid, where they hold the role of VP of Engineering, Flueid Pro. Prior to Flueid, Scott held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Vodii, LLC and Nyaas LLC, both software product companies. In their role at Vodii, Scott gained extensive knowledge of the title insurance and settlement services industry.

Before their time at Vodii, Scott worked as the Director of Product Technology at Prometheus Global Media. There, they led the Front End Technology team and implemented improvements in render-time performance and page-delivery code.

Scott’s earlier professional experiences include roles as a Strategy Developer at Virtu Financial, Vice President of Product Development at Shopflick, and Software Contractor at Veritas Prep.

Scott began their career in the technology industry at Fox Interactive Media and FOXSports.com, where they held the positions of Senior Technical Manager and Technical Manager, respectively. Scott also served as a Software Engineer at Fox Interactive Media.

Before joining Fox Interactive Media, Scott worked as a Senior Associate at Scient. Overall, Scott’s work experience showcases their leadership skills, technical expertise, and adaptability to different roles and industries throughout their career.

Scott LaPlante attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Scott also completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution between 1995 and 1998.
