Alex Liang is a seasoned engineering professional with a strong specialization in SCADA systems and control engineering. Currently serving as the Lead System Integration Engineer at Fluence since July 2024, Alex oversees SCADA scope for large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, ensuring alignment across global engineering teams and grid operators. Prior roles include SCADA Engineer at Goldwind, where innovative design approaches significantly enhanced project efficiencies, and Senior Control Systems Engineer at Paradigm Engineers, focusing on functional-safety upgrades for bulk-handling assets. Alex has also contributed to mining automation projects at DDC Automation and led property development initiatives at Kollins Corporation. An alumnus of Curtin University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Alex's academic performance was distinguished with commendations.
