David Kohn

David Kohn is an experienced data architect and product manager with a robust background in engineering and data science. Currently serving as Staff Data Architect and Manager of the Data Platform Team at Fluence since June 2023, Kohn has a diverse career spanning multiple roles at Timescale from January 2018 to June 2023, including Senior Product Manager and Senior Solutions Architect. Previously, Kohn was a Data Engineer at Moat, where significant backend optimizations were implemented, saving millions and enhancing performance. Other notable positions include Modeling Engineer/Data Scientist at Urban Electric Power, CEO and Co-Founder of Red Ox Systems, and Postgraduate Fellow at Yale University, where Kohn contributed to innovative projects in electrochemical desalination and nanomaterial synthesis. Kohn holds a BS with Honors in Engineering Sciences from Yale University.
