Rakesh Radhakrishnan

Rakesh Radhakrishnan is a seasoned professional in the field of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering at Fluence since April 2023. Rakesh has extensive experience driving revenue growth and delivering customer-focused solutions, complemented by a proven track record in building and leading high-performing sales engineering teams while fostering a collaborative and customer-centric culture. Previously, Rakesh worked at Hitachi Energy from January 2009 to January 2023 in various roles, including Regional Tendering Manager for the APAC region and Bid and Proposal Manager, where responsibilities included managing bids and proposals for BESS applications. Rakesh's earlier experience includes engineering roles at Kalkitech, specializing in substation automation systems for utilities and other sectors. Rakesh holds a B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control Engineering from the University of Calicut, earned from 2001 to 2005.
