Sean Powers

Sean Powers, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sean is currently working at Fluence, where they hold the position of Senior Project Manager. Prior to this, Sean worked at Shell for several years, where they held various roles, including Leadership Coach and C&WI Operations Supervisor. Before joining Shell, Sean served in the US Navy as a Chief of Staff and a Nuclear Submarine Officer. These roles provided him with valuable experience in managing operations, leading teams, and implementing process improvement strategies.

Sean Powers, PMP has a strong education background. Sean holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they completed in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering Management from The Catholic University of America in 2012. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2005. In addition to their formal education, Sean also holds certifications including Round 2 Certification from Shell, obtained in 2015, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in October 2020.
