William (Bill) Hyun

William (Bill) Hyun has extensive work experience in the field of laboratory medicine. William (Bill) spent over 25 years at UCSF, where they served as the Director of the Laboratory for Cell Analysis (LCA) and later became the Director of the Lab for Advanced Cytometry (LAC) and the Sony Biotechnology Center. During their time at UCSF, they successfully built the LCA into one of the largest academic cytometry core facilities in the world.

In addition to their work at UCSF, Bill also has various roles outside of the institution. William (Bill) is currently a Venture Partner at Genoa Ventures, investing in early-stage life sciences companies. William (Bill) is also a Board Member and Co-Founder at Fluent BioSciences Inc., a Board Member at Slingshot Biosciences, Akadeum Life Sciences, and Scribe Biosciences.
