Emma K. is an experienced professional with a diverse background in language education and translation. Currently serving as a Caseworker at the International Rescue Committee since February 2018 and as an Arabic Teacher at Fluent City since September 2017, Emma also operates as a Freelance Translator since 2010. Previous roles include a Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant, where Emma taught standard and Levantine Arabic at Five Colleges and developed a conversation curriculum aligned with ACTFL guidelines. Emma's early experience includes translating legal documents for the Amman Translation Center and facilitating Arabic language and cultural training for Peace Corps volunteers in Jordan. Emma holds a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from both Al al-Bayt University and Université Lumière Lyon 2, complemented by a Fulbright Scholar designation in American Studies from Hampshire College.
