Marlene von Essen-Müller

Marlene von Essen-Müller has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to HR and people management. Marlene is currently the CHRO and Senior Vice President of People, Culture & Communication at Flügger group A/S. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of People & Culture at Bang & Olufsen, where they also served as the Director & Senior HR Business Partner for Brand & Markets. Marlene has also worked at Telenor DK as a Senior Development Specialist. Before that, they founded Ledelseskraft, where they provided advisory, coaching, and training services to businesses and individuals. Marlene has also worked at Oticon A/S as an HR Business Partner and at Debenhams & Magasin as an HR Manager & Business Partner. Marlene started their career at Siemens as a Public Relations Communications Manager.

Marlene von Essen-Müller's education history begins with a Master's degree in Psychology, internal & external communication, and HR, which they obtained from Roskilde University from 1995 to 2002. In 2020, they enrolled in AVT Business School to pursue an Executive MBA, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
