Hendrik Höcke has had diverse work experience in roles related to IT security, consulting, and software development.
Starting in 2016, Höcke worked as the Chief Information Security Officer and Deputy Head of IT at Stiftung Humboldt Forum im Berliner Schloss until 2020.
Prior to that, Höcke gained experience as a Working Student at Siemens AG, where they were involved in software development and testing for security-relevant train systems.
Höcke also worked as an Embedded Software Developer at FERCHAU Engineering in 2014 and as a Technical Support Engineer at Gravis AG from 2008 to 2009.
In addition, Höcke has held various roles at other companies such as itsh, Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, and Fraunhofer FOKUS, where they gained experience in IT projects, consulting, IT security, and software development.
Currently, Höcke is employed at Zurich Airport Ltd as the Deputy Head of IT Security Services and also serves as an ISMS & Risk Manager.
Hendrik Höcke has a diverse education history. Hendrik obtained a Master's Degree in Technische Informatik - Embedded Systems from the University of Applied Science Berlin / Beuth-Hochschule für Technik Berlin, completing their studies between 2015 and 2017. Before that, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Technical Informatics - Embedded Systems from the same university, graduating between 2009 and 2014.
Hendrik also has secondary education qualifications. Hendrik completed their Abitur or A-Level at the OSZ für Kommunikations-, Informations- und Medientechnik between 2006 and 2008, specializing in Telekommunikationstechnik. Prior to that, they were an IT-System electronics technician at OSZ IMT from 2002 to 2005, focusing on consumer electronics, information systems, and project management. In addition, they were a technical assistant of automatization and computer technics at OSZ Spree-Neiße 1 from 2000 to 2002, with a field of study in Mess-Steuer-Regelungstechnik, Netzwerke, and Telekommunikationssysteme.
Aside from their formal education, Hendrik Höcke has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. Hendrik became a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Informationssicherheit AG in November 2018. Additionally, they became a BSI IT-Grundschutz Experte, also from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Informationssicherheit AG, in December 2017.
