Lauren LeSergent has a wealth of experience in research and development engineering, micro-printing engineering, optical test specialist, nanotechnology collaboration in mechanical engineering, undergraduate research assistant, research assistant, pilot plant operator, lithium ion thin film electrode researcher, and data analyst student. Lauren began their career in 2013 as a Data Analyst Student at Environment Canada. In the same year, they also took on the role of Lithium Ion Thin Film Electrode Researcher at Soochow University. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant and Pilot Plant Operator at Canmet Energy, Natural Resources Canada, while also taking on the role of Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Micro-Printing Engineer and Optical Test Specialist at VueReal Inc., and is currently working as a Research and Development Engineer at FluidAI (formerly NERv Technology).

Lauren LeSergent completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2016. Lauren then went on to pursue their Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Nanotechnology Collaboration with Mechanical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2018. Lauren also holds certifications in H2S Alive from Enform (obtained in January 2015), Standard First Aid Level "C" from Western Canada Fire & First Aid Inc (obtained in January 2015), and Swagelok Tube Fitting Installation Training from Swagelok.
