Osama Hafez

Osama Hafez has a diverse work experience beginning with their current roles as a Full Stack Software Developer at FluidAI (formerly NERv Technology) and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto. In 2022, they were a Software Engineer Intern at D2L, where they implemented filtering options for quiz marking, introduced auto-scrolling in quiz navigation, and improved crucial transitions between file and text submission types. In 2021, they worked as a Full Stack Developer Intern at Cognitive Systems Corp., where they integrated an authentication system for a Network Operations Center, delivered self-hosted UI for documentation, and automated parts of the documentation process with Python & Docker. In 2019, they were a Cofounder and Developer at the Muslim Athletic Association, where they developed an MVP customer relationship management application, integrated Python scripts for weekly updates, and customized program registration for company needs. Osama also held a Teaching Assistant role at the University of Toronto in 2021, where they interviewed students for their course projects and automated marking scripts.

Osama Hafez is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, which they began in 2017 and is expected to complete in 2023.
