Jeison Gómez Zapata

Jeison Gómez Zapata has been working in the telecommunications industry since 2007. Jeison began their career at ETB as an Ingeniero de Campo, where they were responsible for the installation and support of Balotto systems, as well as multiplexers for Comcel and Movistar. Jeison then moved to CYFO Comunicaciones y Fibra Óptica in 2010, where they were the Coordinador de Licitaciones y Ofertas. In this role, they were responsible for the coordination of minor projects, the search and evaluation of proposals for public and private companies, and the follow-up of offers from the pre-sale stage to the satisfaction evaluation. In 2014, they joined IC Asesorías y Proyectos as the Director Operativo Administración red Fibra Óptica La Alianza Fase 1 y 2, where they were responsible for coordinating the operation and maintenance of the national fiber optic network, controlling new installations and expansions, and improving the response to the reference information of the main telecommunications companies in the country. In 2019, they moved to ENERGIZANDO INGENIERIA Y CONSTRUCCION S.A.S. as an Ingeniero de Proyectos, where they were responsible for ensuring the completion of HFC projects nationwide, making intensive follow-up of bottlenecks that were stopping the course of the projects until delivery to the TIGO client. Finally, in 2021, they joined Fluid Attacks as a Project Manager.

Jeison Gómez Zapata has a background in education that spans from 2002 to 2018. Jeison obtained an Ingeniero de Sistemas y Telecomunicaciones degree from Universidad Católica Popular del Risaralda in 2009, with a field of study in Redes y medios de Transmisión de Telecomunicaciones. In 2017, they obtained an Especialista en Gerencia de Proyectos degree from Universidad EAFIT. No additional certifications were obtained.
