Alessandra Bosco

Alessandra Bosco began their professional career in 2014 as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Lethbridge School of Graduate Studies. In this role, they worked on the Prairie to Pharmacy Project, Natural Product and Cancer Cell Laboratory, where they investigated the anti-mitotic activity of Pulchelloid A on colon cancer cells. In 2017, they moved to The University of Lethbridge as a Research Technician, where they investigated and characterized the biological activities of natural products on human cell lines. In 2020, they joined Fluid Biomed Inc. as an Operations Manager. In this role, they lead operational activities at different levels across the organization with a strong focus on Supply Chain and Procurement activities, Human Resources processes, and Information Technology activities. Alessandra is also a Project Coordinator and Laboratory Coordinator at Fluid Biomed Inc.

Alessandra Bosco obtained their Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 2010-2013. Alessandra then earned their Master of Science in Oncology and Cancer Biology from The University of Lethbridge in 2014-2017. Most recently, they obtained their Master's degree in Biomedical Technology from the University of Calgary in 2019-2020.
