Crista Thompson

Crista Thompson, PhD has a diverse work experience that spans from 1997 to the present. Crista began their career as an MSc Candidate at the University of Guelph in 1997. In 2000, they joined Charles River Laboratories as a Senior Research Scientist and Study Director, where they established and validated laboratory procedures for performing genetic toxicology tests in a GLP environment. In 2007, they began a PhD Candidate role at Queen's University. From 2012 to 2018, they worked at McGill University as a Post-Doctoral Fellow, where they led a collaborative research program and supervised/mentored students. Most recently, they joined Fluid Biomed Inc. in 2022 as the Director of Preclinical Studies.

Crista Thompson, PhD received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pathology and Molecular Medicine from Queen's University in 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry from the University of Guelph in 2000. Crista completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry from the University of Guelph in 1996.
