Matthew Dobson

Matthew Dobson has worked in the engineering field since 2005. Matthew began their career as a 3D Designer at Cantilever Bars, where they worked on a variety of projects configuring bars for restaurants, pubs, cafes etc. In 2007, they joined Dyson as a Senior Design Engineer, where they used their hand fabrication skills to prototype and test designs, as well as using CAD and rapid prototyping. Matthew also became a Line Manager with responsibility for 4 Junior Design Engineers. In 2016, they moved to Owen Mumford Ltd as a Senior Design Engineer, where they led a team of 6 design engineers to develop a complex mechanical auto injector from initial brief through to manufactured product. Currently, they are a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Fluidic Analytics.

Matthew Dobson attended De Montfort University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Product Design with Furniture Design in the field of Industrial and Product Design.
