Andreas Kjaer has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and organizations. Andreas started their career in 2003 as a Professor, chief physician, MD, PhD, DMSc, MBA at Rigshospitalet & University of Copenhagen. In 2004, they became the Head of Cluster for Molecular Imaging. Andreas then co-founded Minerva Imaging in 2011 and later co-founded Curasight in 2013. In 2018, they founded FluoGuide A/S. Additionally, they hold the role of International Associate Editor - Journal of Nuclear Medicine at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging since 2019. Andreas is also the Founding Editor-in-chief of Diagnostics MDPI since 2011. Andreas Kjaer's involvement extends to the Innovation Centre Denmark, where they serve as the Co-chair of the board of directors for the Lundbeck Foundation Danish-American Research Exchange (DARE) Program since 2014. Andreas is a member of the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences (ATV) since 2015, serving on the Science & Engineering Committee and as an Academy member. Recently, they joined the Steering Committee of BETA.HEALTH in 2022.

Andreas Kjaer's education history is as follows:

Andreas Kjaer started their education in 1979 at Marie Kruses Skole, where they obtained their High School degree with a major in Mathematics & Physics in 1982. Andreas then went on to attend the University of Copenhagen from 1982 to 1995, where they earned their MD, PhD, and DMSc (dr.med.) in the field of Medicine.

In 1991, Andreas Kjaer enrolled at Copenhagen Business School and completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration in Organizational Leadership, which they obtained in 1994. Andreas further pursued their education at Copenhagen Business School and acquired an Executive MBA degree from 1994 to 1996.

In 2006, Andreas Kjaer attended Orlando Flight Training in Kissimmee, FL, where they obtained a Pilots License (PPL(A)).

Andreas Kjaer continued their education in 2013 at Harvard Business School, participating in the Leading the virtual company - Pasteur Program for one year. In 2017, they enrolled in an Executive Program at Singularity University. Both of these educational experiences did not specify degree names.

The most recent educational endeavor for Andreas Kjaer was in 2018 at INSEAD, where they completed the Making Innovation Happen Programme in 2019. The field of study for this program was not provided.
