Daniel Vargas

Daniel Vargas is a Mechanical Engineer with eighteen years of experience in stress analysis and piping design, primarily within the Oil and Gas industry. Currently serving as Stress Lead Section at Fluor since March 2007, Daniel has contributed to projects in Venezuela and internationally. Previous roles include Piping Stress Lead at Sacyr Proyecta and Stress Engineer in various capacities at notable companies such as Repsol Petroleo SA and Jantesa. Daniel has a strong background in managing stress analysis and pipe support activities across a range of projects, including natural gas compression stations and refinery upgrades. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
