Derek Shewmake

Derek Shewmake, MBA, PMP, is an experienced professional with a robust background in project management and operations, currently serving as Site Manager at Fluor Corporation, overseeing plant restart and operational readiness for solar-grade polysilicon production. Prior to this role, Derek held various leadership positions in the United States Air Force, managing maintenance operations for substantial aircraft fleets, including the F-16 and KC-135R/T, and led significant programs involving quality assurance and training development. Derek’s expertise also extends to project management roles in the civilian sector, such as managing agile projects at T-Mobile. Educationally, Derek holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management and multiple associate degrees in aeronautics and instructional technology.
