Tom Buonaiuto

Tom Buonaiuto is an experienced financial executive currently serving as SEVP, Chief of Staff, and Deposit Channel Executive at Flushing Bank since November 2020. Prior to this role, Tom was President and COO at Empire National Bank from January 2008 to October 2020, and EVP & CFO at both Union State Bank and Long Island Commercial Bank from January 2006 to December 2007 and 1992 to 2005, respectively. Tom began their career as an Audit Manager at KPMG Audit from 1987 to 1992. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from LIU Post, completed between 1983 and 1987, alongside attendance at Miller Place High School and East Lyme High School.
