Matt Chilton is a seasoned AV Specialist with extensive experience in audio, video, and lighting production across various prominent organizations. Currently contracted with the Ford Foundation, Matt provides comprehensive AV production and design services for events, while also managing significant projects related to system installations and training. As House Technician at Flushing Town Hall, Matt excels as a Streaming Technical Director and audio engineer for live concerts and events. Additional roles include Composer and Sound Designer for theatrical productions, alongside various audio engineering positions at institutions like BRIC, the Museum of the City of New York, and The Juilliard School. Matt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Anthropology from Wesleyan University, awarded in 2016.

Flushing Town Hall
Flushing Town Hall (circa 1862) offers performances (including jazz, world music, dance and puppetry theatre), exhibitions and education programs reflecting our global community. We are a Smithsonian Affiliate & a member of NYC’s 33-member CIG. The mission of Flushing Town Hall (also known as Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts) is to present multi-disciplinary global arts that engage and educate the global communities of Queens, New York and New York City, New York, in order to foster mutual appreciation. As advocates of arts equity since 1979, we support local, immigrant, national, and international artists, developing partnerships and collaborations that enhance our efforts.
