Fien de Clercq

Fien De Clercq is a seasoned professional in sustainability and engineering, currently serving as a Sustainability Manager and Expert on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) at Fluvius from November 2023 to March 2025. In addition to this role, Fien holds a position as an advising member of the educational committee for the industrial engineering program in electromechanics at Universiteit Gent since September 2019 and is involved in the Expert Group for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Committee for Advocacy at ie-net ingenieursvereniging until January 2025. Prior experience includes serving as an assistant project leader in production at FARYS, focusing on the operation of water production centers and renewable energy installations, and being an active board member of AIG - Alumni Ingenieurs Gent from February 2021 to January 2022. Fien furthered professional expertise through educational pursuits at Vlerick Business School and KU Leuven in sustainability and operations management, respectively.
