Karan Malhotra

Karan Malhotra currently serves as Deputy Manager for Carbon Credits at Avaada Group, focusing on the life cycle of carbon credits within renewable energy projects and adhering to voluntary GHG mitigation standards. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Analyst at ESG Book, where research centered on climate change data and identifying green revenue activities in corporate sustainability reports. Karan also worked as a Senior Business Development Engineer at LR Energy, engaging in business development for solar PV projects, regulatory analysis, and climate change initiatives. Earlier experience includes operations in power exchange markets at PTC India Limited and an internship at Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd, where foundational knowledge of electrical substations was gained. Karan holds a B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The NorthCap University and is pursuing a postgraduate degree in International Business at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
