Nick Fields

Nick Fields has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2010. Nick's first job was as a Software Test Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology in 2010. In 2013, they moved to Viewpoint Construction Software as an Internal Software Engineer, where they focused on supporting the quality and development teams and automating the testing and delivery of a legacy C# desktop app and an Angular web app. In 2017, they joined Apiture as a DevOps Engineer, where they focused primarily on AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD. In 2019, they were promoted to Lead DevOps Engineer at InVision, where they focused primarily on delivery and quality. Currently, they are a Dev Tools Engineer at Flux, where they focus primarily on velocity, delivery, and infrastructure.

Nick Fields has completed studies in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and Business Administration at Laurel Ridge Community College. Nick has also obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services, including AWS Certified Developer - Associate (October 2018), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (July 2018), and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (March 2019).
