Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Currently focusing on hardware development for Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and related educational devices, Chris previously contributed as a Firmware Engineer within the same organization. Prior experience includes working as an Electronics Contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibilities included designing and repairing educational devices, and serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier career milestones include working as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
