Bob Tinker

Bob Tinker is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and B2B SaaS sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Partner at Metamorph Partners since January 2020, Bob specializes in operator-led buyouts and has a track record of founding and growing companies, including BlueRock Security as CEO and co-founder, which focuses on runtime security for containers and Kubernetes. Bob is also the Executive Chairman of Fluxx, a leader in Grants Management software acquired by Metamorph in 2021. An accomplished author, Bob has co-authored multiple books aimed at guiding entrepreneurs on their journey, highlighting challenges such as the need to "un-learn" as companies grow. With previous roles including CEO of MobileIron, which Bob guided from startup to IPO, and significant positions at Cisco Systems and Airespace, Bob combines deep industry expertise with a commitment to innovation and thought leadership in enterprise security and startup growth. Bob holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
