Wim Vermeir

Wim Vermeir is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in investment management, holding prominent positions such as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at AG Insurance since April 2011, and Group Head of Investments at Ageas since June 2012. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at Fluxys and President of the Financial Committee at Koning Boudewijnstichting since November 2017, Wim also contributes as a Guest Lecturer at Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management and Vlerick Business School, focusing on sustainable investing and asset management. Prior roles include significant leadership positions at Dexia Asset Management, where responsibilities included managing traditional investments and sustainable responsible investing, as well as early career research at Ghent University.
