After hearing our friends struggle to find someone to take over their existing lease we decided there has to be a better way to sublet than the status quo. Most of our friends took to Facebook pages where they got scammed, Instagram stories, or word of mouth. Nothing worked, and some ended up having to pay two rents. So we figured, let's try and fix this old system. Our objective is simple, we want to build a leasing network that makes it easy for individuals to post their lease, review applicants with social media integrations, request background or credit checks, select payment plans, and move out. We plan to avoid scammers by giving back control to both parties. To view applicants, the current tenant will have to pay a small $1 fee for each application they want to view in full. They can then chat on the platform about the current living situation, request a tenant complete an application native to the platform, select a payment plan based on our templated options and go on their merry way. Our plan is intricate but our goal is simple: we want to build a secure leasing network made for people, not property management companies and, we invite you to join us.
