Bruce Underwood

Bruce Underwood has over 30 years of work experience in the finance industry. Bruce began their career as an Advisor at KPMG in 1990. In 1998, they moved to Hays as a Divisional Finance Director. After a year, they joined Independent Newspapers as a Financial Controller. In 2006, they were appointed as the Finance Director of World Travel Group. In 2009, they became the Head of Finance UK & Ireland at Arkadin. In 2012, they joined Right Management (Part of Manpower Group) as the Finance Director UK & Ireland. In 2016, they moved to WEX as the Finance Director - Europe & APAC Payments and Finance Director - Europe Payments. In 2019, they joined Openpay as the Finance Director - UK and in 2022, they became the Chief Financial Officer and Group Finance Director at Fly Now Pay Later.

Bruce Underwood completed a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between 1987 and 1990. Bruce then completed the ACA Professional Year Program at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1992-1993. In 2021, they obtained two certifications from LinkedIn, "Finance Strategies for Business Leaders" and "Get Funded to Grow Your Business". Bruce also completed the EMEA Leadership Programme and the Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
