Michael Salas is a skilled manufacturing engineer with experience in the aerospace and power products industries. Currently employed at Flyer Defense LLC since February 2021, Michael focuses on reviewing design changes for powertrain hardware using Siemens NX and Team Center to enhance manufacturability, while also documenting manufacturing processes and monitoring part configurations. Prior experience includes a role as a design and development engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne, where work involved design and fabrication support for NASA's RS-25 liquid rocket engine, and as a mechanical design engineer at Myers Power Products, Inc., collaborating on the design and manufacturing of custom switchgear units. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, as well as an Associate's degree in Music Theory and Composition from Musicians Institute.
