Byron Silkett-Irvine

Byron Silkett-Irvine is an accomplished aviation safety professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and operational management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Safety at flyExclusive since September 2022, Byron previously held multiple leadership roles at Spirit Airlines from July 2015 to July 2022, including Senior Manager of Regulatory Standards and Ground Safety. In these positions, Byron oversaw initiatives ensuring regulatory alignment, developed safety investigation programs, and improved efficiency across internal evaluations. Byron's earlier experience in the United States Air Force involved managing large-scale maintenance operations for the F-22 program, leading more than 380 personnel and overseeing substantial military assets. Byron holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the United States Air Force Academy.
