Steve Pawlak

Steve leads flyExclusive’s Maintenance team and is the liaison between flyExclusive and the FAA ensuring all CFR Part 135 regulatory requirements are in compliance. Originally from Colorado, Steve found his way to North Carolina after serving in the US Army as a Turbine Engine Mechanic for six years. After separation from active duty, Steve enrolled at the North American Institute of Aviation A&P School and graduated with an Aircraft & Powerplant Certificate. Steve then went on to work as an A&P mechanic for Ram Air Freight and Airborne Express and during his tenure at Ram Air Freight, worked his way up to Chief Inspector and then Director of Maintenance on the Part 135 Freight Operations and Accountable Manager for their Certified Repair Station. Steve is passionate about aviation and ensuring safety comes first. Steve began working with flyExclusive in April 2016 and in November 2021, after four months of serving as the interim SVP of Maintenance, Steve was asked to join the Senior Leadership Team as the new SVP of Maintenance and is excited to be part of a growing, innovative company.
