Michal Durys

Michal Durys has a diverse range of work experience in the design field. Michal is currently working at Flying Bisons as the Lead UI Designer. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior UI Designer at the same company.

Before joining Flying Bisons, Durys worked at OSOM STUDIO as a Web & UI/UX Designer. In this role, they focused primarily on UX consultations and was responsible for web design, interfaces, digital campaigns, prints, branding, and strategy communications. Michal also had experience in video editing, creating animations, and UI motions.

Durys gained experience as a Web & UI/UX Designer at Synkro Digital Agency. During their time there, they worked independently and was responsible for the design and management of various iOS apps and websites. Michal introduced Sketch as a design tool to their team and handled their first interactions with foreign customers.

Earlier in their career, Durys worked as a Lead Graphic Designer at Kamikaze Altavia Group. Michal led a team of graphic designers, oversaw work time planning, assignment of tasks, and provided guidance and assistance. Michal also developed marketing campaigns, created websites, and focused on UI and photo retouching for beauty and telecommunications industries.

Durys started their career as a Graphic DTP specialist at Centrum Reklamy Czekalski. In this role, they were responsible for the entire printing process, from design and preparation to print, cut, and packing. Michal also gained experience in customer interactions and problem-solving.

Michal Durys pursued their undergraduate studies at Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki w Łodzi from 2008 to 2011. Michal obtained a degree in Artystyczna Grafika Komputerowa (Computer Graphic Arts). In addition to their formal education, Michal has also earned several certifications. Michal received a Green Skills Certificate from INCO Academy in March 2023. Moreover, they completed courses in Using Style Guides to Bridge Design and Development and Accessibility for Web Design, both provided by LinkedIn, in May 2023 and April 2023 respectively.
