Sylker Teles

Sylker Teles is a seasoned researcher and educator specializing in games, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) development. Currently serving as a researcher at Samsung Ocean since July 2019, Sylker also teaches Design Innovation in the Professional Design Master Program at CESAR School and is a professor in the Graduate Program of Electronic Games at Universidade do Estado do Amazonas. As the CEO and Game Director at Flying Saci Game Studio, Sylker oversees project management, game design, character modeling, animation, and programming. Additional roles include serving as President of the Associação de Ex-bosistas do Japão na Amazônia Ocidental and previously as a Game Director and Producer at DX Gameworks. Sylker's extensive educational background includes a Ph.D. in Design Strategy from Kyushu University and a Master's in Social Communication focused on new media and online games from Universidade Federal do Amazonas, complemented by an MBA in Innovation from UNM Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Design in Game and Interactive Media Design.
