Brian Van Smith currently holds the position of Supervisor at Flying Squirrel Sports since May 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing safety and customer experience, facilitating training sessions for new employees, and managing staffing and operational duties for various attractions. Previously, Brian served as a Court Monitor, ensuring adherence to safety rules and providing exceptional customer service. In addition to this role, Brian has served as an Assistant Coach for Cross Country and Track & Field with Broward County Public Schools since August 2023, assisting in coaching duties and team management. Education includes pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Florida International University, following an Associate of Arts in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.

Flying Squirrel Sports trampoline park structures include: shock absorbing suspension mounts, a connection system with a pivoting bed rail and a german gas shock absorber assembly incorporated directly into the trampoline framework. The unique design allows the frames to pivot and travel up to 4 inches upon impact through the specific use of german shocks. Unlike all OTHER TRAMPOLINE PARKS which are built using straight steel frames which underlie the vinyl foam pad attached to the top.
