Rodney Burr has over three decades of diverse experience in the food service and education industries. Currently serving as a Consultant and Purchaser for Flying Star Cafe since August 2014, Rodney actively supports the mission of the Flying Star Family of Brands by sourcing high-quality products and educating the team and community about natural and authentic foods. Rodney previously owned KinderGuitar New Mexico LLC from August 2011 to August 2023, where a dynamic music curriculum for children was developed to enhance their learning experiences. Rodney’s extensive career began with SYSCO New Mexico, where employment spanned from April 1978 to November 2008, focusing on merchandising, marketing, and product analysis within a FORTUNE 100 company. Education includes dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Marketing and Advertising from Fort Lewis College.
