José Portela

José Portela possesses extensive experience in data analytics and engineering, currently serving as Insights Analyst at Flying Tiger Copenhagen since November 2023. Previously, José worked at Galp as a Data Engineer from August 2022 to November 2023, contributing to the Ulysses project focused on centralizing business unit information and enhancing data-driven decision-making through the development of datasets and dashboards utilizing tools such as SQL, DBT, and Apache technologies. José's prior roles include Team Leader and Senior Business Intelligence Consultant at everis, where responsibilities encompassed ETL processes and reporting for various projects, alongside relevant positions at Accenture Portugal, Glintt, and other organizations. José holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and Aalto University, complemented by a Licenciatura in the same field.
