Sagi Hed

VP R&D at Flytrex

Sagi Hed has worked at a variety of companies since 2001. Sagi began their career as a Software Engineer at Verint in 2005, and then moved on to Intercast Networks in 2007, where they developed a multitude of projects in a variety of frameworks. In 2008, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant for workshops in algorithms and data structures at Tel Aviv University. In 2009, they joined Waze, where they held the role of Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer, responsible for Waze ETA, Offline Processing and Big-Data Infrastructure, and initiated several algorithms for Waze's map and ETA. In 2013, they took on a Research Intern role at Microsoft, and in 2021, they became the VP R&D at Flytrex.

Sagi Hed attended Tel Aviv University from 2004 to 2007, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Sagi then continued their studies at the same university from 2008 to 2011, earning a Master of Science in Computer Science.
