Cy Megnin currently serves as Vice President Software at Elevate Ventures, focusing on developing high-potential businesses in Indiana. Additionally, Megnin is an Adjunct Professor of Management & Entrepreneurship at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and teaches Entrepreneurship at Indiana University Columbus. As an advisor for Flywheel Fund and an angel investor with IU Ventures, Megnin supports early-stage companies across various industries. Past leadership roles include founding OCPS, a real estate investment firm, and co-founding PrepFlash, an educational technology company. Megnin has participated in mentoring programs for emerging founders and holds an MBA from Baylor University and a BA in Economics from Indiana University Indianapolis.

Flywheel Fund is a member-managed capital fund based in Bloomington, Indiana. We invest in early-stage and high-potential startups. Flywheel Fund is committed to investing a minimum of 13% of our fund to Black founders and teams. In-person office hours at The Mill: Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 We screen companies continuously to find the one that will be considered for investment every other month. The three main criteria we look for are: 1. Team 2. Market 3. Product Because we invest in early, team is extremely important. And in particular for software and technology, we’re looking for capital-efficient companies.
