NAOTO then transitioned to the role of a Strategic Partner Development Manager, where they focused on building strategic partnerships with mobile carriers, OEMs, retailers, distributors, and government entities for the Android business in Japan and South East Asia. Additionally, Naoto was also responsible for search syndication and mobile ads partnerships and played a significant role in developing mobile strategic partners for Adsense and AdMob.
Before Google, Naoto worked at Docomo i-mode Europe B.V. as a Strategic Business Development Manager, where they led strategic business development and partnerships with mobile operators, OEMs, content providers, and retailers in Europe. NAOTO also served as an account manager for European mobile carriers and was responsible for i-mode content development for various companies.
Naoto's early career includes working at NTT DOCOMO, Inc. as a Business Development Manager, where they led strategic business development deals, including JV set-up and M&A. NAOTO also developed mobile content and built developer relationships with IPs for video, entertainment, news, games, etc., both in Japan and Europe.
