Blaise Boczek

Blaise Boczek has a long history of work experience in the software engineering and testing industry. From 2011 to 2019, they worked as a TDL Technician for the Air Force Institute of Technology, where they conducted tests for foreign and domestic clients from the military sector. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer for Netguru, where they created test documentation and wrote automated e2e and visual regression tests. Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, Blaise worked as a Senior QA Engineer for Flywheel Software. At Indico Data, they were a Software Development Engineer in Test - User Interface Testing, where they led the development of the Cypress automation framework for front end e2e tests, including writing, refactoring, and organizing multiple Cypress tests, working with environment variables, basic auth, Cypress plug-ins, custom commands, loading, and using fixture data, observing and stubbing application calls using cy. intercept, setting up data via GraphQL call endpoints using cy. request, performing visual testing with Percy and AppliTools, and writing API tests using Cypress.

Blaise Boczek completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki Stosowanej i Zarządzania WIT w Warszawie. Blaise then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts - BA in International Relations and Affairs from Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie between 2009 and 2012. In 2018, they obtained the ISTQB Foundation Level certification from Stowarzyszenie Jakości Systemów Informatycznych / Polish Testing Board.
