Rafael Ayala

Rafael Ayala is an experienced professional in the technology and finance sectors. Since October 2018, Rafael has served as the Regional Managing Director at Flywire, overseeing the company's expansion in Latin America with a strong emphasis on the education sector. Prior to Flywire, Rafael held various leadership positions at Celeritech from October 2005 to October 2018, including Board Member, VP Global Corporate Segment, and CEO for Venezuela and Peru. Rafael also has a background in pre-sales at edocs-Siebel and Siebel Systems/Oracle, project management at SAP, and presales at SEMA Group Pty Ltd. Rafael began the professional career at Arthur Andersen/Andersen Consulting as a Manager. Academically, Rafael holds a Master in Finance from IESA and a degree in System Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela.
