Zahirul Sohag

Zahirul Sohag is an Advanced Approvals Engineer at FM Approvals, specializing in the evaluation and certification of property loss prevention products since November 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Development and Formulation Scientist at Taylor Adhesives, where Zahirul managed laboratory and production activities, and as a Quality Application Engineer at Exide Technologies, where Zahirul processed warranty claims and engaged in customer quality audits. Zahirul's background includes foundational research as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, focusing on semiconductor synthesis and photocatalytic activities, as well as experience in teaching and internships in various chemistry fields. Zahirul holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Dhaka.
