Vijay Sambandhan

Vijay Sambandhan has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Vijay started their career in 2003 as a GIS Engineer at Aarvee Associates, where they worked until 2005. Vijay then joined Bergmann in 2006, initially as a Geographic Information System Developer and later transitioning to the role of Project Manager from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, they worked at FM Global through Whitridge Associates as a Geographic Information System Developer until 2023. Currently, Vijay Sambandhan holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at FM Global, starting from March 2023.

Vijay Sambandhan has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Vijay then pursued a Master's degree in GIS from University at Buffalo between 2005 and 2007. Later, they completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they hold a certification in Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) from the GIS Certification Institute, obtained in 2008.
